Lang Co – one of the world’s most beautiful bays
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s Lang Co Bay was elected the 30th member of the World's Most Beautiful Bays Club 15 years ago. Since then, Lang Co Bay has been preserved and promoted, becoming a tourist attraction for Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

Lang Co Bay, one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Vietnam, is located between Hue and Da Nang, on the central heritage road "Phong Nha - Ke Bang - Hue Ancient Capital - Hoi An Ancient Town - My Son Sanctuary", and on the East - West economic corridor.
A celebration will be held from Thursday to Sunday to honor Lang Co, one of the world's most beautiful bays. Vice Chairman of the Phu Loc district People’s Committee of Thua Thien-Hue province Nguyen Hai Dang says there will be a range of activities.

“20 activities will celebrate the 15th anniversary of Lang Co being recognized as the world's most beautiful bay, including a motorized paragliding event and a whale worshipping festival. We will also open a walking street on Nguyen Van Street and host various art programs involving many popular artists.”
The celebration will feature a traditional long dress show, a release of lanterns, Stand Up Paddleboard rowing, performances of Bai Choi, a jogging event, a trade fair, traditional boat racing, kite flying, and fireworks.
Every year Phu Loc district welcomes more than 1.8 million visitors, most of whom visit Lang Co. By organizing this celebration Thua Thien-Hue province hopes to promote the image of Lang Co Bay and local tourism, and attract investment for development.
